“Lucia” created for our show “Dusk” , 2019 Lucia reflects the devastating Big Sur fires of 2016. The phoenix sits at the edge of the forest where land meets sea. Exhausted, she soaks in the sunset and rests after wreaking havoc on the wooded lands behind her. Knowing that her role is necessary doesn’t make it any easier.. She’s done for today.
